I know you have to be older than 103. Once a month on the first Tuesday I do a stamping class at The Nelson Gables Senior Care Apartments. The oldest one to attend is 103 and doesn't look a day over 80. Her sharp dress, stylish hair and rosy lipstick not to over done are much like a hand made card should be. I often tell stampers when you think it needs one more thing STOP!
Here are the hand made cards from this week. It is sometimes a challenge to come up with ideas that are simple enough and yet look like we fussed. They love to color and they are all very good at cutting out things when we need to. I think it might be from those years of cutting out fabric to sew. They have had a little trouble adjusting to the new improved juicy Stampin' Up! ink pads. But it has been nice for them to be able to ink the stamp without too much pressure.
Here is a picture of my good friend Rose that I took a few weeks ago, she attended a Stampin' Up! workshop almost 10 years ago. I remember when she turned 80 I thought no way- and now she is soon going to be 90. Rose recently bought The Sizzix Big Shot (she calls it her Big Boy!) it makes me happy to see that she still plans to stamp for years to come!
Thanks for stopping by this week I hope you know how much your visiting my blog means to me! I would love to have you share in the comments a special friend you meet because of the stamping!
