Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. I really want to thank you all for your patience this past few months while we spent time with family during my Sister-in-law LaVone's 8 month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She lost her fight last Thursday, December 19 around 3 o'clock in the afternoon at the age of 47. Christmas was her favorite time of year, I can only imagine the celebration it is in Heaven. She loved stamping and was also a Diva in my Diva & Dudes Stampers Community. This is one of my favorite pictures of her with my husband's youngest brother (Todd) at their son's wedding.
I learned so much from her in the past 8 months. Never once when we went to see her in the hospital did she ever complain no once. She always would say "I am Okay" "I'm Good". She received amazing care at Mayo Methodist Hospital with the finest team of doctors. Many said they were touched in a special way by her and that their lives will be enriched because they knew her. So while my love of stamping and time to stamp has had to take a back seat – again I want to thank you for your patience and I hope to be back on track this next week, starting tomorrow (Thursday) with Technique How To, Week 41 Faux Silk! You won't want to miss it. See you tomorrow.

Yes, he recovered (Thanks to the nurses and doctors at the elf hospital and the help of the boys writing get-well letters). He came back, and the boys were much better with their behavior, too!

It is always difficult, this thing called cancer. Just the word can send chills through one. No matter what one is going through there is always someone else with something more tragic. Like my Mom use to say everything will be alright. I know God has a plan that we do not understand and one just has to hang onto Faith. Thanks for you prayer Keryn appreciate them Hugs patsy
