We are getting closer to the end of a year in Technique How To Videos. Is there a stamping technique or fun fold card you would like to have me do a video on? It is much like thinking what to make for supper. I don't mind cooking, sometimes it is just hard to figure out what to make.
My hubby doesn't often get overly excited about my stamped cards, usually says that's nice, but when he came into my stampin' spot and said that is really a cool card. I knew it was blog worthy. He is pretty picky you don't get the nick name "Felix" as in Felix Unger for those of you who remember the show The Odd Couple.
This weeks technique is called split negative. I have only done this using black and white embossing powders on black and white cardstock – but you can do them in other colors also. I love black and white for lots of things. One of my customers favorite classes was an all black and white card class. I hope you enjoy the video showing you how to do this technique and I even show making the card from start to finish for those who enjoy watching the entire stamping process.

I am now aware of your weekly tutorials and find I look forward to them each week. Thank you so much for doing them. The Split Negative looks so interesting and even though I don’t have the peacock stamp, I’m looking through my stamps for one I could use. I think I saw a sample somewhere done with the large tree in Lovely as a Tree. I love the fact that you are Border Buddies with Alison Solven as I follow her work (being from Canada).
