It is last call for Moon Lake & One Tag Fits All Stamp Sets that are featured in the 2015 Occasions Catalog. These sets are only available until Tuesday June 2.
Both of today's card samples are from a Card Swap I participated in. A card swap is where you stamp a certain number of cards all the same and swap them with other stampers. We all have different styles of stamping and it is a great way to get a variety of cards.
Sometimes people steer away from stamps that look like there is going to be some fussy coloring. This stamp set looks great just stamped and in most any color with out any additional coloring. I am sorry I don't remember who I received this card from in the swap, but I love the layout and the Chevron Ribbon accent.
Are you always looking for the perfect set for stamping masculine card, well you need look no further! Moon Lake stamp set comes in Clear Mount 138540 or Wood Mount 137149.
This card is made with the One Tag Fits All stamp set. I received this card in the card swap also from Brenda Cardinal. Love the pop of color against the black.
This fun set has a coordinating Tag Punch - the punch will be available in the new catalog but not the stamp set. It is a versatile all occasions set. One Tag Fits All stamp set comes in Clear Mount 138583 or Wood Mount 137143.

Border Buddies Saturday and it's my turn to post today.
I am always amazed at the number of ways people find to use a punch. Susan Campfield a Minnesota demonstrator recently showed how to make windows with the Note Tag Punch. Since I do not have that punch (yes I know it is hard to believe I don't own everything!) I decided to try it with the Decorative Label Punch and I think it looks pretty cool.
The card base is Daffodil Delight 5 1/2" x 11".
The Whisper White mat is 4" x 5 1/4"
The Real Red Cardstock is cut a 3 5/16" x 3 5/16" It is important to cut the square the correct measurement. If you have a hard time knowing where 5/16" is it is one little line past the 1/4" mark.
I corner rounded the edges and also ran it through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots Embossing folder
The flower vases are stamped in Tuxedo Black using the Vivid Vases Stamp. I then colored them in with the Stampin' Write Markers (Soft Sky, Real Red, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight). The ribbon is the Daffodil Delight Cotton Ribbon.
The little flowers are punched out with the Itty Bitty Accent Punch Pack (the flower punch). I colored the pearls with a yellow Sharpie Marker. Love to customize our pearls.
Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoyed today's quick tip!
Exciting News! I am going to offer my customers a Designer Series Paper Share! Here is a sneak peak of one of the papers that will be included in the share. Details of the share below*.
This card is features the fun Bohemian Designer Series Paper. It was stamped by a fellow Stampin' Up! Incentive trip earner Janet Munden. Tom and I enjoyed spending some time with Janet and her hubby Jerry exploring the Hawaiian Island of Oahu last week.
The stamped sentiment is from the Friendly Wishes stamp set that will be in the new Stampin' Up! catalog that goes live June 2. The Bohemian Designer Series Paper coordinates with Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Island Indigo, Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla. The papers are so much more amazing in person!

Stampin' Up! has a selection of single stamp sets that can be purchased individually.
Vivid Vases is one of the single stamps featured in this years catalog and is not retiring, Yah!
While it might seem you need to color this image since it is a outline stamp just stamping it in black works or highlighting with just a little color like I did in this card.
I used Stampin' Up Colors...
I colored the flowers using a Blendar Pen and Soft Sky refill. I just open up the Stampin' Ink Pad and put a drop of the refill in the cover and dab my blender pen in and start coloring. A great option for those who do not have the Stampin' Write Markers.
When I started this post and looking at the colors of the card, a song came into my mind. "Jesus Loves the little children all the children of the World, red and yellow black and white, they are precious in his sight". Did any of you sing that song as a child? While it has nothing really to do with the card I will be singing that song in my head the rest of the day.
I recently attended a fun event in Minneapolis were Stampin' Up! demonstrators gathered together to share creative and business ideas. One of the swap cards my downline received was a yellow, black and white card. We commented on how stunning it was. So when I got home I decided to create a card using these colors and here is my creation.
I wish ever stamp set had coordinating punch! Beautiful Bunch has a great coordinating Fun Flower punch to go with it so you don't have to do any fussy cutting. The yellow ribbon (oh no, another song in my head, can you guess what it is, LOL?) My daughter-in-law says is everything have a song with you and I guess she is right. Back to the yellow ribbon it is the Daffodil Delight seam binding which makes such a great ribbon it lies flatter for easy mailing.
Well that's all for today - I am sure you now have a song singing in your head too!
It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here today!
The title of my post today is two-fold - one it defines the relationship I have with my Border Buddy, Patsy Waggoner; we are truly the Perfect Blend! AND it's the name of one of my favourite retiring stamp sets - Perfect Blend. This set is perfect for so many occasions and it's so reasonable priced too!
I love this card made by my friend Liane Binder - Liane used the bottom of her favourite coffee cup (Tim Horton's in Canada) and pressed it lightly to the stamp pad to make the rings of coffee. SO clever. And the sentiment definitely describes Patsy and I!
I'm so lucky to be the Leader of an awesome team of demonstrators in Canada (Liane is one of my group too!) and several of us are involved in monthly swaps. This card is by my team member Elaine Paget. Perfect for anyone in your life, especially a man who loves coffee. Did you catch the coffee filter as one of the elements on this card?
This card is one I received as part of a Convention swap from Becky Roberts. I love how Becky stamped the cup on designer paper and cut it out and then created a Java sleeve where she stamped the sentiment.
I hope these samples have inspired you and if they have you better "nip along quickly" and order it from Patsy (US) or I (Canada) before it's gone forever on May 31st (or while supplies last after May 24).
Each month I hand stamp 10 cards to send out to the Top Ten Demonstrators in sales on my team. It is just a little something to let them know I see what an amazing job they are doing sharing their love of stamping.
Here is the card I sent to the Top Ten for April. I cased this card from Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Lyssa Zowlanek. We saw this technique of stamping on the Typeset Designer Paper at the Stampin' Up! Convention. We learn so many new and fun ideas when we attend Stampin' Up! events.
Stampin' Up! Basic Gold Metal Buttons These are my all time favorite buttons. "Use these buttons with caution—you may not be able to stop looking at them long enough to finish your project."
Each package contains: 32 buttons. 8 ea. of 4 sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4". They are a great finishing touch to most any project. They also come in silver.
Today is the day we will be flying over the Pacific to the wonderful Hawaiian Islands. I had a dream once to visit Hawaii. Never did I dream I would visit three times and all expenses paid for two by Stampin' Up!
It is also the day my Mom was born, she would have been 84 today. She would have loved to taken another trip with us. While she never stamped she did love Stampin' Up! She purchased lots of glossy cardstock to make cards on her computer and every color of glitter to embellish them with and lots of two way glue.
My travel documents arrived a few weeks ago and it is always so fun to see what they have put together. It also makes the trip finally feel for real!
I think these are the largest luggage tags yet! This will by my 13th incentive trip. Stampin' Up! pays for everything for me and a guest (including airport transfers and tips). Of course my dear husband Tom has been my guest.
Today I would like to share a card that makes me think Hawaii! Using the Flower Patch photopolymer stamp set to create a background. It was a bit brighter than I wanted so I placed a piece of vellum cardstock over the top to soften the look. This stamp set has a coordinating framelit set "Flower Fair Framelits" to cut out the flower perfectly - no fussy cutting! Purchase the stamp set and framelits together and save 15%.
Here are the Stampin' Up! Products used to create this card.
