Serene Sillouttes remains one of my go to stamp sets. I have paired it with the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper for this card. I colored the stamp itself with Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow Markers form the 2015-2017 In-color makers to give the bunch of flowers some dimension. The circle with flower and the butter fly is from the Serene Silhouettes Stamp Set.
The buttefly was stamp in Blackberry Bliss with the tiny butterfly from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and punched out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. I then embellished it with two rhinestones to give it a little wow. A very simple but elegant card that I can have on hand and stamp a sentiment inside when I need it.
I like to have cards on hand to send and sometimes I can't keep up. Since my friends and family look forward to hand stamped cards I have not purchased a card in over 18 years.
The last time I received a card and flipped it over and saw the price I about fell over. I joke about the price of each card I make, but over the years I think the money I have spent to make my own has given me joy, the sense of accomplishment and appreciation from friends who receive them.
