Rose Garden and Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies Endless Possibilities

The possibilities are endless with these two dies sets.  Each has a coordinating stamp set to go with them that you can purchase in a bundle and save 15%.  But they can also stand alone!

Cups and Kettle & Rose Garden Framelits Dies #stampinup

The little teapot is from the Cups & Kettles framelit set.  I have always had a fascination with tea sets and when this set came out in the Stampin' Up! 2016 Occasions Catalog I just knew I had to have it!

Tom has had endless tea parties with our granddaughters and he is even getting good at holding up his little finger while he sips.  Of course he does not like pretend tea even so he has to have pretend hot chocolate.

Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set, Time is Running Out

You can make the little chick any kind of bird just by how you color it. Honeycomb Happiness stamp set saleabrations #stampinup

Time is running out to get this little guy!  When I first saw this him all I saw was a baby chick.  But with a little Chocolate Chip & Cajun Craze and Tangelo Twist ink you have a Robin.  Robins in Minnesota are a sure sign of spring.  Sometimes after a late snowfall I know the robin wonders what he is doing here, much like myself most of the winter.

Honeycomb Happiness stamp set balloons saleabrations #stampinup

But just another month or two to hang in there and it will be all worth it.  Minnesota in the summer can't be beat!  You can't go wrong with a monochromatic (all tones of one color) card like in this sample.

Honeycomb Happiness stamp set balloons saleabrations #stampinup (2)

So in this cute Honeycomb Happiness stamp set you get the little chick, the balloon on a string and the fun little ice cream cone and three sayings...

Birthday Blooms Stamp Set

Hello Stampers,

It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here this week.

Have you checked out the Birthday Blooms stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue yet? I love it as soon as I saw it and, seriously, can you ever have enough flower images?

I love the single poppy too and the words are a beautiful script font and the nicest sentiments.

Birthday Blooms Stamp set close up

I used our Stampin' Write Markers to colour in the sentiment because I wanted each word to be a different colour.  This gives the card some interest on an otherwise simple design.

Birthday Blooms Stamp Set Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper

I cut a piece of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and glued it directly to the card front.  This paper is so gorgeous and there is so much variety that it's good for all kinds of cards.

Screen Shot 2016-03-20 at 10.52.50 PM

The features of this paper include:

  • 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-side designs
  • 12" x 12" sheets
  • acid free, lignin free
  • coordinating colours - Blushing Bride, Min Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pool Pary, Soft Suede, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White

Here's a tip:

When you click on the link for an item (or when your visit my store) you will see a little "+" sign on the lower corner of some of the pictures.  When you click on the "+" a window will open with pictures of some projects and in the case of Designer Series Paper you will see a full large pictures of the designs!

Here's what to look for (click on the "+")

Screen Shot 2016-03-20 at 11.00.57 PM
And here's what pops up:

You just click through the pictures and you can see all the designs from the paper in a larger format.  Isn't that cool?!

Here's some other ideas on how you can use the stamps with the coordinating paper.

Water coloring is one of my favorite techniques.  Did you know our ink pads are designed to squeeze and leave some ink in the lid like a palette for water coloring with a Blender Pen or Aqua Painter.

Stampin Up Aqua Painter

I use the Stampin' Up! Aqua Painters for larger areas when water coloring

Click Here to watch a video showing how to watercolor with aqua painters.

Stampin Up Blender Pens

And the Stampin' Up! Blender Pens for smaller areas.

Border Buddies Sunday Series Week 10 -
Stampin' Up! Pedal Pushers Stamp Set

Pedal Pushers 2016 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration stamp set handstamped cards

Hello Stampers,

Patsy here, Spring has come very early to Minnesota - the snow is all gone and the temps have reached 60+ degrees some days. While I won't hold my breath that winter is really over, it does make me want to get the bikes out and head down the bike trail.

Today is raining so I can only dream of riding down the trail.  If I can't ride I can stamp some fun cards using the  exclusive Sale-a-brations stamp set Pedal Pushers.  It is a perfect stamp set to stamp up some Spring and Summer cards for any occasion.

Stamp Crazy with Alison Pedal Pushers

Alison created this card and posted it earlier this month, some of you may have missed it so I wanted to share it again.  She paired the Pedal Pushers stamp set along with the Balloon Bouquet Punch isn't it sweet!  READ MORE....

Click Here to watch a video featuring the Pedal Pusher Stamp Set

I have always thought a bicycle built for two would be fun, however Tom knows if we had one he would have to do all the peddling.  That is why we now have kayaks...

Patsy Waggoner selfie in the kayak

...I can no longer sit in the back of the canoe and get a free ride.   It will be many months before we can hit the water.  That is the wonderful thing about stamping it doesn't require any special weather and you can do it all year long, even in Minnesota!

This is our final Sunday of our Border Buddy Sale-a-bration Sunday Series.  Time is running out to pick up some amazing products for FREE with your *qualifying order!  You will be rewarded with a FREE choice for every *$50 you spend (before tax & shipping) - so $100 = 2 and so on.

Stampin' Up! Tin of Cards Kit

Hello Stampers,

It's Border Buddies Saturday, Patsy here!

Stampin Up Tin Card Kit 3

Would you like to have a supply of cards at your fingers tips when you need them?  We have got a great solution for you, the Stampin' Up! Tin of Cards Kit.

Stampin Up Tin Card Kit

I had so much fun making the cards in the kit last week.  It was quick and easy but really looks like I fussed.

I LOVE the tin and will be able to refill it with new cards and use over and over again!

Stampin Up Tin Card Kit 2

I started out by punching out all the accent pieces first and getting all my supplies lined up.

Did you notice the white grid paper I stamp on?  It is in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog?  I can not stamp without it, I use it to line up things, off stamp on and in general to keep my desk from getting ink all over it.

Stampin Up Tin Card Kit 4

What a sense of accomplishment in such a short time.  I now have a variety of 16 cards to send out this next month.   I stamped mostly Birthdays, but also stamped up a few "Congrats to You" to send to my team members who have meet a goal.

The kit comes with images and directions but Stampin' Up! also created a Tin of Cards Video to show you how.

Here is a list of other supplies you may want to purchase to complete your cards.

Botanicals Just for You - Earn Free Handstamped Cards

February Earn Free Cards 2016 Botanicals For You Stamp Set #stampinup

It is hard to believe that this will be my third year of Earn Free Cards.   At the end of 2013 I took a look at my Stampin' Up! Business and asked myself - What do I love to do most?  And it was of course it was stamping, however I had gotten so busy with all the other activities of my business I wasn't finding time to stamp.

I sat down with my morning cup of coffee one morning and thought how could I make more time to stamp and "Earn Free Cards" was born.   Some demonstrators in the business said "You are CRAZY to offer Free Cards" you will never be able to keep up.

I have gotten pretty busy stamping cards but enjoy every minute of it.  You may have heard around the internet about #imbringingbirthdaysback it is a great idea, however rather than 1 card on your birthday you can get 4 handstamped cards every month from me for placing a qualifying order online!

One of my BFF, Bev, from high school just became a grandma for the first time.  I used this months sketch to create a card to send to her daughter and husband and new baby William.  We have watched each others children grow up, get married and now having babies.
