I just the Border Buddies Just in CASE (copy and share everything) series we are doing. It is so much fun to go through the catalog and pick out a card to case. I mentioned on Tuesday that when you find a card you like even if you don't have the same colors or stamp set you can get creative and improvise.
Today's card I used a different embossing folder and stamp set – but the layout and colors are the same.
Today's card is CASEd from page 105 of the Stampin' Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.
The card on the left is the one in the catalog created by the concept artist at the home office. They used the Flower Shop stamp set along with the Petal of Burst Embossing Folder. I just placed an order for the Petal of Burst Embossing folder, with my love stamp sets with flowers I felt it was a must! I love my Flower Shop stamp set and often reach for it as one of my go to flowers., so easy to stamp and punch with the coordinating Pansy Punch to create amazing bouquets.
For my card I substituted the Watercolor Wings Stamp Set. This stamp set is a 3 step stamp set. Three step stamping is when you have three different stamps to create and image. This stamping technique gives your image so much interest and dimension.
