Our neighbor's daughter whom we have watched grow up recently moved to Nome Alaska. What and adventure! I know her hands are getting cold. The other morning as she headed to work she mentioned it was 26 degrees F. Since her work is with Parks and Recreation she is often working out doors.
I thought I would send her a card with some news from home. We do keep in touch via Facebook but nothing can replace a handstamped card with a handwritten note in the mail when far away from home.
This is a very quick and cute card. The card base is 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Thick cardstock. If you haven't purchased this before you will LOVE it for all you card bases which are white. It is the same weight as our colored cardstock so it gives it a nice sturdy feel.
I embossed the next layer of Whisper White (4" x 5 1/4") with the Softly Falling embossing folder using the Big Shot.
The Eskimo is stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink on Crumb Cake Cardstock and punched out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
The Igloo is cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits & Big Shot and then ran through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.
Isn't it amazing how different the Santa, Moose and Teddy Bear all look using the same punch.
This stamp set is Called Cookie Cutter Christmas but don't let the name fool you. You can use it for so many different things. If you missed it check out the Easter Bunny I made using the punch.
Don't forget if you buy the stamp set and punch together in the Bundle #140396 you save 10%!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget Thursday is Just in CASE you won't want to miss it!
