The Stampin' Up! Catalog is full of inspiration?
See a card you like but don't have the stamp set? No worries you can CASE the card using a different stamp set and even different colors. But if you go too far you have created you own card.
CASE = Copy and Share Everything
Each Thursday my border buddy Alison Solven and I hand stamp a card we CASE from the Stampin' Up! Catalog and share it on our blogs. Sometimes I CASE them almost exactly the same and sometimes I change almost everything up.
Like anything new I seem to gravitate to the new 2017-2019 In-Colors. The card base is made using the Fresh Fig In-Color. And don't you just love foil paper, the matting is from the Eastern Beauty Designer Series Paper that has been so popular it was on backorder for a time but is available now.
The flower is from the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set which also has a coordinating Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. The outline flower is stamped with the new In-Color Emerald Tide and then I stamped the solid image over the blossom with Fresh Fig Classic Ink. The little strip of paper below the "Oh, Hello Friend" is also from the Eastern Beauty Designer Series Paper.
If you love to have the directions for my CASE cards you can sign up for my Newsletter. Each Friday I send out the tutorial for the card featured in my Thursday Blog Post via my weekly Newsletter.
My Border Buddy Alison Solven (on the left) CASES a card each Thursday too!
