The months go so quickly and it is hard to believe it is October already and time for another Color Your World International Blog Hop. This is where you get to travel around the world without leaving your seat and be inspired by some of the Top Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the globe.
Some months can be a real challenge, this month was one of those months. The colors just didn't hit me and aren't typically the colors that I am drawn to. I will admit that paring them with my favorite designer paper proved to be a success. I am in love!
The color challenge this month included
- Always Artichoke
- Old Olive
- Sahara Sand
- Sweet Sugarplum
Card Measurements & Details…
I love the intricate detail that the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder gives to this card. Embossing folders can add such great dimension and detail to a card. The card base is Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock (4-1/4" x 11") I often make my sample cards top fold as they are much easier to photograph. If you want your card to open side fold just use 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" cardstock folded in half.
The sentiment Happy Birthday (from Butterfly Basics stamp set) is stamped in Always Artichoke Classic Ink on a piece of Sahara Sand (3" x 4-1/4") and layered on a piece of Old Olive (3-1/4" x 4-1/2").
The Petal Garden Designer Paper (2-1/2" x2-1/2") is layered on a piece of Always Artichoke cardstock (3" x 3").
The 3/8" Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon is so easy to tie and lays nice and flat for easy mailing.

That is one thing I love about our Designer Papers is they coordinate to amazingly with our cardstocks, inks and accessories. That is what drew me to Stampin Up! so many years ago was the simplicity with everything going together.
