Sunday Sketches time, this is where I create a card using a card sketch or sometimes called a template. I think this card is one of my all-time favorites. The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set has been a great addition to my collection.
It is incredible how different a card can look using the same layout just changing up the stamp set and colors.
The card on the left was from my original post. It features the Wild About Flowers stamp set and the Botanical Builder Framelits. The stamp set is still current while the thinlits are retired.
The Botanical Builder Thinlits is one set that you don't need the stamp set to go with it. You can see on my card how just cutting the flowers out of cardstock they make a great embellishment.
You can still purchase the framelits at an incredible deal on the clearance rack.
Reg. $33.00 now only $9.90 This is ONLY While SUPPLIES last.
The lace edge is made using Whisper White Cardstock, I ran it through the big shot using the scalloped edgelit from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. Then I ran it through again using the Quilt Top Embossing Folder.
The background paper is from the Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Pack.
The 1/4" Calypso Coral Ombre ribbon seemed to be a perfect choice to embellish the card. Then I tied a little tag that was cut out using Very Vanilla Cardstock and the tag from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits. Stamp the tiny "For You" in Early Espresso.
The flowers I cut out in Whisper White using the Big Shot and the Bouquet Bunch Framelits and lightly sponged them with Calypso Coral Classic Ink
Old Olive was the choice for the stems and circle mat.
Have you ever made a card using one of my card sketches?
