It's Thursday and time for another Just in CASE card. Each week Alison Solven and I CASE (copy and share everything) a card from one of the current catalogs and share it with you.
We also send a PDF Tutorial with images, supply list, measurements and step by step directions for the card in our weekly E-Newsletter.
I created today's handmade card using the Brusho® Crystal Colour. While it is not a new product, it is new to Stampin' Up! in the 2018 Occasions Catalog on page 26.
It takes a little playing with, and each time you try it, the results are different. If you like to get creative and appreciate some unique watercolor effects, you will want to give it a try.
The top card is my CASE, and the bottom card is featured in the Occasions Catalog on page 26. You can see while each is created using the stamp steps they turned out very differently. My sample was stamped using the Birthday Blooms stamp set and Stampin' Up! used the Beautiful Day stamp set.
Steps for using the Brusho® Crystal Colour
- With your piercing tool pierce a small hole or two in the top.
- Emboss your image on Watercolor Paper (I stamped the image with Versa Mark Ink, poured White Embossing Powder over the top, tapped off the excess and heat it with the Heat Tool till the embossing powder turns glossy).
- Spritz the paper with water using the Stampin' Spritzers and shake a small amount of Brusho on the water.
- Blend the color with an Aqua Painter.
All paper crafting supplies used for today's project are Stampin' Up!
