Stampin' Up! Fiji Incentive Trip 2013

I have had the pleasure of spending the last 9 days in Fiji as part of the Stampin' Up! incentive trip.  This morning we will be swapping cards which is always a special activity at many Stampin' Up! events, just before we leave to return home.  Here is the card I will be swapping.

Fiji is my 11th incentive trip that I have earned for sales and/or recruiting achievements.  It is an all expense paid trip for myself and a guest (which is always my dear hubby).  The destinations have included, Hawaii, Alaska (2X), The Mexican Rivera, The Panama Canal, Western and Southern Carribean, Bermuda Cruises and 3 Land vacations Hawaii, The Boardwalk at Disney and Fiji.  I have seen the world with Stampin' Up!  I will share more with you in the coming weeks of this incredible experience.  

Special Hand Made Valentines Card Everything Pearls

Do you have a special friend who loves to read?  Make her a handmade card with a book mark included. 

The distressed background is done by running the Core’dinations Real Red through the Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade folder.  Then I used the sanding block to sand it a bit and reveal the monochromatic inside giving it a distressed look. 

 

By attaching the strip of Pool Party Designer Paper on each side and embellishing with Red Glimmer hearts, I could slide my little book mark in and out. This little book mark will attach easily to any page of your friends favorite book.

 

Stampin' Up! swept me off my feet ...

...when they asked me to be one of the presenters for the Leadership Conference kicking off the 25th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! in Orlando, Florida.

 

One of the big highlights at the conference, was the service project—staff and demonstrators joined forces to stuff 2,000 bags full of fun Stampin’ Up! products that were delivered to the district office in this cool truck and will be sent to kindergarten through third-grade teachers throughout the Orlando area.  Isn't this the coolest truck ever?

Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013 Starts Today

Today is the start of the Stampin' Up! Leadership, while typically you have to have the title of Sr. Supervisor or above, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Stampin' Up! it was opened up to any active Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I am extra excited, Stampin' Up! asked me to be one of the presenters again this year. I will be sharing how coaching my downline has made a difference. I have an awesome downline both near and far and love working with them.

This is the hand stamped card I made to swap with other stampers at Leadership.  He the cutest little Whale!  It is a swapping frenzy when we all get together.  Some of you may be asking what is a card swap? - it is where you make a particular number of the same card and exchange them with other demonstrators so you come home with lots of fun cards to display or send.  Example... you go with 50 of the same card and come home with 50 different cards.  While I typically only swap around 100 cards, some demonstrators will swap 500 plus.

Advisory Board Retreat 2012

Have you ever had an experience that seemed like a dream?  That is exactly what the Stampin' Up! Advisory Board Retreat was like.  Stampin' Up! always treats us like royalty no matter what trip they plan, but this was the best of the best.

It all started with a stretch limo meeting us at the airport.  From left to right: Heather Summers, Ronda Wade, Amy Storrie, Desiree Spenst, Me and Mary Fish.

 

Then when we arrived at our Suites at the Residence Inn by Marriott, there was a special welcome gift waiting for us.

 

The next day we arrived at Stampin' Up! and Shelli meet us at the door and I have to say a huge flood of emotions overtook me.  I can't even begin to express the joy I felt at this moment.

 

  
     

Just like always everything coordinating from the invitation we received in the mail to the Welcome sign at the door and the folders for our notes.  They just always think of everything.

 

In that beautiful litle box is our Advisory Board Rings. 

 

Here are all our rings, not only are our hands connected so are our hearts!

Stering Gardner, Shelli's husband, planned the festivities for our evening at the Gardner home.  The Limo pulled up to a white carriage, their grandsons all dressed up, helped us out of the Limo and escorted us to the carriage and handed us a beautiful red rose.  Them as the carriage traveled through their neighborhood to their home family and friends along the way waved and greeted us.  We enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by family and friends and served by their grandchildren.

 

Then we changed into our matching jammies and settled into the family room to exchange our Favorite Things Gifts.  

Another special treat was having Sara join us for the evening activites.

Favorite Things Gift!

OMG what an evening!  I can't tell you how exciting and enriching this experience is and going to be!  Okay now for "My Favorite Things".

It was hard to pick just 3 things but here is what I chose and why.   I created a little flip album with on of my favorite hobby stamping!  On the flaps of the album are... (for them to put their favorite photo of those things).

My Favorite Candy - Good and Plenty!

I feel in love with Longaberger many years ago  (1989).  Not only do I have to love them all around my home, but we use them!  They are not only beautiful but also serve a purpose, it gives me great joy to use them.  While I had contemplated buying each person a basket - thinking about packing them seemed a bit overwhelming.  So I thought about it and Christmas was always one of my favorite holidays so I decided to get them each a Longaberger Collectable Pewter Christmas Ornament. 

Stampin' Up! Advisory Board

I was totally shocked, amazed, honored and excited to be choosen to serve on the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Advisory Board.  Appointment to the Advisory Board is the highest honor the company bestows. Advisory Board members provide the company with direction, experience, and opinions from a demonstrator’s point of view.
