Yesterday in my video I promised I would come back today and share with you the Soda Pop Top Embellishment. I love making the twisted cards and I have run out of Pop Tops so will have to be ordering soon myself.
The other day talking i was chatting with one of my customers and she was telling me how much she loved the new Stampin' Trimmer. It is a must for stampers as well as scrapbookers. It is perfect to have on your table while your work. Although paper trimmers are a common crafting tool, this trimmer was designed exclusively by paper crafters for paper crafters-and because it was made by Stampin' Up!, you know it's a cut above the rest!
While I don't get to scrapbook as often as I would like to, it is something I enjoy very much. My focus has been more on our Grandchildren the past few years. Here is our youngest Isaac he is almost walking! Hard to imagine in a few months he will already be a year old.
And don't forget about the possibilities with digital! Our intuitive digital design software MDS2 features Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive artwork, colors, and templates. Be your own digital designer and create an array of photobooks, cards, calendars, slideshows, and more—which you can then print using Stampin’ Up!’s print services, or save to DVD, e-mail, or upload to the Internet.
And don't miss FREE Sale-a-Bration 2013 digital content. oh, yeah!
If you want to give MDS2 a try before you buy, you can download a free 30 trial.
Recently when reading an article Living a Life of Joy written by one of my favorite writers Martha Beck, I found that not only will sending hand stamped cards bring joy to family and friends, but it will also bring more joy into your life just by creating them. From the article...
"It is simple, two little words: Make something. You see, creative work causes us to secrete dopamine, a hormone that can make us feel absorbed and fulfilled without feeling manic. Research indicates that we're most creative when we're happy and relaxed, and conversely, that we can steer our brains into this state by undertaking a creative task."
This card was inspired by amazing stamper and demonstrator friend Connie Stewart. She has an awesome video on her you tube channel called Simply Simple Flash Cards. You will enjoy watching her and I think you will be inspired to run to your stamps and see how many different cards you can make using this technique.
This is my creation from this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch 267, why not take a try at this weeks challenge and create a card of your own.
