I was so excited to be asked by SU to present a WOW Demonstration at the Sioux Falls, Regional Seminar today. At regionals – Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from across the United States and Canada enjoy stamping, swapping, creative demonstrations and business ideas. The stress of trying to WOW your piers can be stressful. As with most of my stampin, this is not my original idea, I was inspired by Sheryl Dickinson, Stampin’ Up! demonstrators blog, I can’t stop making boxes Sheryl, thanks so much for sharing!
The wonderful scallop envelope die for the Sizzix Big Shot, is much more than a tiny envelope.
Start by cutting out 4 scallop envelope with the Big Shot!
Connect the 4 envelopes together to create a box using sticky strip, decorate your boxes as you wish.
You can use your boxes for all kinds of occasions. Leaving some flaps up…
Flaps Down…
Tuck all kinds of little gifts in your box including our great little 3 x 3 cards. Check back on Monday for all four 3 x 3 gift designs…
Want a smaller box? Use two envelopes with a 1 1/2″ side…
Lets add a little top for our Box. Create the bottom first just like the previous boxes. Then you will cut out just the top 1/2 of the scallop envelope Die (shown below) You will need 4 of these.
Cut off the tabs on the side as shown below…
Then attach one on each side of a piece of card stock cut 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ square…
Then attach a piece of Designer Series paper 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ to the top and embellish as you wish. I attached the ribbon around the box with sticky strip to hold the top flaps together.
I just can’t get enough of the new in colors… and the Pacific Point is a favorite! This will be an awesome color for scrapping our Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Hawaii in March!
Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
Once you start to make these great boxes you won’t be able to stop. Just think of all the great little gifts you could stick into these awesome boxes for the Holidays!
