Tom and I are enjoying a lazy day on one of the promenade deck on the Royal Caribbean in the Southern Caribbean, Life is good!
This picture was taken on the promenade deck while on the Stampin' Up! Panama Cruise 2007. We were participating in a walk for Brest Cancer and my Mom was cheering everyone on as they rounded the deck. I know this isn't her favorite picture – but I love this picture of her, her eyes are full of life and her smile of complete happiness.
Many of you know she has been battling Ovarian Cancer for the past 4 years. Her cancer has become resistant to the Chemo and it is no longer being effective, so they are trying some experimental drug. We are moving into more unfamiliar grounds and again reminded to take one day at a time. We have appreciated all the prayers for her the past few years and ask that you continue to pray for us in this next leg in our journey.
My Mom is an incredible person. Always positive seeing the glass half full not empty and seeing the good in others, supportive and encouraging. She has been a huge part of my Stampin' Up! business while not being a stamper herself, and so very proud of what I do. This cruise is a bitter sweet… My Mom wasn't able to come with us this year, she has enjoyed 3 Stampin' Up! cruises along with Tom and I. But I know she will be excited to see our pictures and hear all about it when we get home.
Stampingly,
Patsy
