Never run out of ribbon, now you can make your own bow with designer paper strips. This is a great way to use up those little strips of paper you have. The lighting was not great today for taking the photo and the color is more pink toned than it shows. It is the NEW IN Color Strawberry Slush.
The polka dot is from the Designer Series Paper Stack which has 40 sheets of 12" x 12", 4 each of 2 double-sided designs in 5 colors. Designer Series paper makes it easy to create a card or scrapbook page with coordinating background paper, cardstock, and stamped images.
This video is part of a 52 week of Technique How To series, along with a free downloadable 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" page for you to print. Create your own sample to attach to the page to make your very own Technique Booklet. Be sure and subscribe to my blog so you don't miss an upcoming technique video.

Cheryl so glad you are going to make the samples it is so nice to have the booklet for reference and we learn best if we actually do the technique ourselves. Happy Stamping!

Saw your card on SC just now! It’s nice and I appreciate the video showing how you made the faux bow. After I saw dies being made to cut the pieces of bows similar to yours, I tried to do it. Well, ummm, hmmm … mine didn’t look so good. Hee! Your video simplified the technique and I am thankful for that. I’m a follower now. I’ll have to check some of your previous videos when I have time. 🙂
