Want to learn how to watercolor like a pro – with this weeks technique how to you will learn it is very easy and totally fun! I always wanted to learn how to watercolor but can't really draw a stick person. When I discovered stamps 17 years ago I thought here is my chance the art work is all ready for me all I have to do is color it. Much like coloring as a small child with watercoloring you don't always have to stay in the lines an often times you don't even need to color it in completely.
When I saw the Color Me Christmas set I knew it had to be mine. It is a great set for watercoloring my first choice in all the techniques. Besides isn't this the cutest little reindeer you ever did see. You won't want to miss this fun holiday set.

Christmas is definitely my favorite. The warm houses filled with delicious smells, the family all together, Christmas music and the lights on the tree. Thinking about all the blessings He has given us… There are so many things I love about Christmas!
I always looked forward to Halloween because that was a time to get creative. I always gave my kids the challenge of making a Halloween costume out of a box. Also, something they had never seen as a costume before. Got more and more challenging but always a lot of fun! They came up with Land O Lakes butter(the Indian lady on the front was my daughter dressed up), container of Quaker Oats (my son was dressed like the Quaker), Mr. Clean, Box of Raisins (daughter was dressed like the lady holding the grapes), Colgate toothpaste with the happy tooth following behind, etc. Lots of fun, lots of memories.
Lol, you are experiencing the Great Paper Towel Shortage of 2013! Thank goodness it wasn’t toilet paper, that’s all I can say :-O
My favorite holiday is Halloween, mostly because it’s in the Fall but not usually cold and snowy yet–I love the crisp autumn air 🙂 I love the decorations, even slightly spooky…though I don’t appreciate the gory and gross ones. I also love the dress-up part of it, and when my kids were little, I would make their Halloween costumes every year. Oftentimes, it was something with a sweatshirt and sweatpants as the base, but not always. We never purchased costumes from the store, though. This sounds odd, probably, but candy has never been the reason I love Halloween, even as a kid.
Christmas is a very, VERY, close second as my favorite holiday, but my birthday is Christmas Eve. With all the chaos around events and family coming in, and taking care of everyone else, I feel like I get maybe 5 minutes for my birthday to get acknowledged and then nothing for another whole year (no wonder I can never remember how old I am). I guess it wouldn’t bother me, but I make everyone else’s birthday at home, a whole day all about them…I would LOVE to have that. I had that ONCE while growing up, when my mom scheduled a birthday party for me in November 😀 I will never, ever forget that birthday. But I do love that we get to celebrate Christmas during a more extended time than traditional single day celebrations like Halloween.
