This Daydream Medallions Card was cased from Jan Holmes, love this clean and simple card, I switched out the black for Baked Brown Sugar and the saying to God Bless You! That is my wish for all of you this New Year!
Are you new to stamping or have you been stamping a long time? This is my 15th year as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and it just keeps getting better. I really love planning out the projects for a class or a blog post. While there are many things you can create with paper, ink and stamps, my passion is card making. Long before I started stamping I would purchase assorted boxes of cards. I had a closet full of them and when a special occasion would arrive I would go through the boxes picking out the perfect card.
Like picking that special card, I go through my shelves and pick out the perfect stamp set, ink and paper to create a special hand stamped card. Most everyone loves to receive them and for many years now I would never imagine sending a store bought card. Also if I did my friends and family would be very disappointed.
I have just as much fun picking out the ink, paper and stamp set along with fun embellishments for my card classes. Just as much care and love goes into those projects as a special card for friend on their Birthday. After all my customers soon become like my best friends. Near or far, some I have never meet but my love for them and appreciation of their friendship is as special as it can be. Stamping friends truly are special people. I don't know if stamping makes them special or that special people just like to stamp – chicken or egg?

I like to stamp cards the most! I started collecting items to start scrapbooking about 15 years ago while I was still teaching HS. Needless to say, I just never had the time nor did I make the time to ever start scrapbooking. When I moved from Texas to Southern Illinois on May 12, 2008 and then attended my first SU Card Club as a guest . . . I WAS HOOKED! 🙂 I love making cards! I have yet to make a scrapbook. With that being said, I have learned so much through making cards with all the different tips and techniques . . . I am no longer intimidated with the thought of doing a scrapbook. I’m sure I would still love doing scrapbooks the old fashion way; although I could to hybrids or use MDS by SU! The possibilities are endless these days!
BTW, I love this CAS of this card as well as the colors! Simply Perfection! 🙂
