It's Border Buddy Saturday and Alison here!
I love the Happy Watercolor stamp set from the Celebrate the Everyday catalog. The catalog is expiring on June 2 and many of the items inside will not be carrying forward to the new 2014-2015 catalog. One of these is the Happy Watercolor set and I'm really going to miss the poppy and the "swish" image so much. I've been using it alot over the past few months.
So just in case you didn't know it was going or you hadn't noticed it before let's take a walk through memory lane and focus on some fun things you can create with this set!
I love the colour combinations on these cards (Crisp Cantaloupe & Early Espresso) – the one on the left was created by my friend Melva Peters. She also gold embossed the little "dots" image so it really pops.
This card also has a gold theme going with the Gold Sequin Trim and Fancy Foil Designer Vellum. I also embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder. The matching envelope used the Watercolor Wonder Designer Wash Tape to finish off the theme. The little cards are the Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards & Envelopes (20 printed cards) and hurry to pick these up because they aren't in the new catalogue!
This is a really different take on this set which is why I love it so much. This card was created by my friend Colleen Vassos. Colleen started with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and then added strips of coloured cardstock to create a rainbow tag. Then she used the "dots" image across the tag and embossed in gold. The sentiment is also embossed in gold and it's finished off with Gold Baker's Twine. Just a few little sequins from the trim and it's done!
And last but not least here are a few other samples using this awesome stamp set.
I hope you've enjoyed these samples to show you the versatility of the Watercolor Wonder stamp set and accessories – just a few weeks left to order your own set!
