Today is the end of the Into the Woods One Sheet Wonder Series with the last 3 cards. If you missed the first couple of series here they are.
Saturday 10-10-2015 post (Template & 3 Cards)
Tuesday 10-13-2015 (3 more cards)
This card I added the embossed background using the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder and also created a tag with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.
Adding a little bakers twine to the top of the acorns really adds a nice touch.
You can barely see the embossed woodland in the background of this card (sometimes the camera just can't pick up the true beauty). This is the flip side of the two sided designer paper is yellow and one of my favorite colors. I love this side of the paper but was so focused on the fall colors I didn't notice this side till I was making the last two cards.
You can see how easily I am inspired to stamp fall cards with this view right out my window. My stamping desk faces the window and I look at this view while I stamp.
For many years my stamping room was in the basement. When we designed our new home 15 years ago I always imagine myself stamping it this room. But it wasn't until my Mom moved in with us while she battled cancer that I moved my stamping office upstairs to this room. She wasn't able to do the stairs any longer and she enjoyed watching me stamp and I enjoyed having her.
I feel blessed to have this room and blessed that she was able to stay with us in her last few years.
Life is good!

Really liked the first card – have suffered from the oops situation a few times. Were the words from actual stamps or done another way?

Susan thanks so much for stopping by. Sometimes I joke happy belated is the only stamp set I need LOL. The stamps are from the Remembering Your Birthday 131347 wood mounted or 131350 clear-mount stamp set.
