It’s Border Buddy Saturday and it’s Alison here this week!
When I first saw the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue for 2016-2017 I was immediately wowed by the Floral Boutique Suite of products. These are absolutely gorgeous and unlike anything we’ve offered before. Here’s a quick look at the products included in the suite – when you purchase products that are all coordinated for you it makes card making so much easier!
And when you purchase the Floral Phrases Stamps (in either wood mount or clear block mount) together with the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies in a bundle you save 10% off the purchase price. Now that’s what I call a “suite” deal. Very sweet…
Today’s feature card uses many of the coordinating products from the suite. I love the flower image in this set because it allows different hues of the same colour just by inking and stamping. The stamp is actually made so that parts of the flower are darker and parts are muted – isn’t that cool?

Here’s another card I made from samples I saw on Stampin’ Up!’s Incentive Trip to the Mediterranean in May (it was an awesome adventure to Barcelona, Naples, Rome, Florence, Cannes and Marseilles). We were spoiled as the entire product line from the Floral Boutique Suite was one of our pillow gifts!
Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
Watch this video from Stampin’ Up!’s home office to see how to place your dies on the card to cut them out easily! *Note that Shannon uses the brand new Big Shot Platform that when paired with the Precision Base Plate makes the cutting out of intricate dies like the Detailed Floral Thinlit even easier!
The Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper truly is gorgeous!
- 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs, 12″ x 12″
- Night of Navy, Whisper White
- Acid free, lignin free
This cute little box was made using the Designer Series Paper and the Gift Box Punch Board!
Finally here are some other amazing projects you can make using this gorgeous suite of products. These were made by the concept artists at Stampin’ Up! I hope that these samples have inspired you today!
