Its Thursday's Just in CASE Series.
CASEing COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING is when you pick out a card and either copy it exactly or change up the stamp set or colors or maybe even both, but if you go too far you are then creating your very own card and just are inspired by the card or project you started to CASE.
The More you CASE the more you learn to be creative so there is nothing wrong with CASEing!
Today's card is an exact CASE
This is one of those cards that is so much more amazing in person. The ruffled ribbon really adds some great texture and dimension to the card.
Stamping the tone on tone Night of Navy behind the cutout really adds to the card. The cut out filigree was created using Soft Sky Cardstock and cutting it out with the Big Shot and the Flourish Thinlits Dies.
While it says in the catalog that the precision plate is required for this thinlit set, I have found my Big Shot with the magnetic platform and plain plates works just fine. I just ordered the precision plate and will let you know if I feel it is worth the investment once I start using it.
I embossed the tag with gold embossing powder which I don't do often and when I do I wonder why I don't it adds so much to a card. I am a little lazy though as I would have to get it out and then powder gets everywhere, can you relate?
For the button I ran the linen thread through to the back and tied with the tales hanging from the back – kind of a nice change.

So pretty – I love recreating cards right from the catalogue. Our concept artists are the best at Stampin’ Up! – why not CASE them?!
