Today's post is a show and tell, how to make a Twisted Fun Fold card. It is really much easier than it looks. You all know I love simple!
You are going to start with a piece of cardstock that is 4 1/4" x 11".
Score from the upper left hand corner to the lower right hand corner.
Then fold your cardstock on the scored mark. I use a bone folder to go across the fold mark to make a nice fold.
Now make a score mark in the center of the card stock as shown with the blue dashed line.
Fold the card in half at the scored line.
This is how the card will look when open.
This fun fold creates a pocket on the card front and also one on the inside.
If you would like to line the pockets of your card you will need two pieces of paper that are 4 1/2" x 4" and cut as shown above, one for the inside pocket and one for the outside pocket.
To decorate the front and inside of the you will need a piece of designer paper that is 2" x 5 1/2".
Cut the designer paper as shown above.
Embellish card as desired!
For my card I choose Flirty Flamingo Cardstock for the card base. The Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper #141632 on page 172 of the Annual Catalog to give the card a WOW. You can see some of the gold foil highlights in the paper. It is hard to see how beautiful this paper is in person!
The Punches I used for the flowers are…
- Petite Petals Punch #133322
- Pansy Punch #130698
- Tree Builder Punch #138295
I used Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Gold Glimmer Paper for the flowers.
I created a Technique How To Video Series a few years back with over 52 different techniques. Each Technique includes a How To Video, Technique Page with instructions and a blog post describing them.
The Twisted Fun Fold has been viewed of 70,000 times on YouTube, isn't that unbelievable.
