Welcome to Sunday Sketches were I get a chance to inspire you to stamp a card using a card sketch. Sketches often help get my creativity fired up and I hope this sketch might inspire you.
- Card Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
- Next Layer: Smoky Slate Cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Horizontal Strip: Sending Love Designer Paper 2" x 5 1/4"
- White Squares: 1 3/16" x 1 3/16" (cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits)
Let your imagination run wild!
Sketches are open to interpretation. You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout, using a square where there is a square, or you can change it to a be a circle, or oval or flower etc. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal.
Did you make any New Years resolutions? One of mine is to send more hand stamped cards this year. Valentines is the perfect opportunity to touch family and friends by sending them a hand stamped card.
This Valentines card features products from the Sending Love Suite. Stampin' Up! makes it so easy for you to coordinate products. The Sealed with Love Stamp Set has a coordinating Framelits Dies called Love Notes. Put it all togehter with the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and you have a great suite of products.
The squares are cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits which are definitely a MUST for every Big Shot or Cuttlebug owner. The hearts are stamped in Real Red and cut out with the coordinating framelit. I hope you enjoyed today's card and Thanks so much for stopping by!
