Traveling half way around the world on the 2017 Thailand Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip has left me with some major Jet Lag! It wasn’t bad when we arrived in Thailand (except for being in bed by 7 or 8 in the evening). However returning back home we have had some major adjustments, but all worth it!
Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.
Stampin’ Up! had the entire Angsana Laguna Resort in Phukett, Thailand. You can see from the image above how large it is. So fun to be walking through the resort and meeting people and knowing you are all a part of the same amazing company.
No Stampin’ Up! Event is complete without stamping. I will be sharing some samples over the next few weeks along with some photo’s of our trip. Hope you will indulge me as I relive this amazing trip.
2017 Thailand Make & Takes
We made these three cards at the incentive trip Make & Takes. No Stampin’ Up! event is complete without stamping. I love that they are quick and easy cards. They will be great to CASE for upcoming fall birthdays. Just change out your card base and pattern paper for some fun variety and stamp Happy Birthday.
The patterned paper is the #144613 Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper from the soon to be released Holiday Catalog along with the #144783 Painted Harvest Stamp Set all by Stampin’ Up! The stamp set is a photopolymer stamp set which is my favorite.
The Painted Harvest Stamp Set can be part of a #146021 bundle which includes the Leaf Punch. I punched out some velum with the leaf punch to embellish this card. We received so many amazing stamp sets, bundles, paper and embellishments on this trip. One always has to take an extra suitcase just to bring back all the fun stuff.
This is the amazing plane we flew to Thailand via Korean Air they are partner of Delta airlines and are top notch!
We arrived almost in the middle of the night so the resort was very quiet, this is the lobby at night.
Here are the steps down to the path to our home away from home.
A fun Welcome Sign with my name on it!
This was or amazing room, what a welcome sight after 30 hours of travel time.
Have you ever seen one of these? When we arrived to our room we couldn’t figure out how to get the lights on. After several minutes of taking the bulb out of the one lite light and trying in the other lamps I found this by the door.
You have to slip your key card into the slot for the rest of the lights to work. Great part is I never lost my key card as you remove it when you leave and it shuts off all the lights.
This was the view we woke up to from our balcony. Love our location so quiet and peaceful in the mornings.
A basket of exotic fruit awaited our arrival. Some I had never seen or heard of.
In the morning we meet our dear friends Matt and Linda Heller to ride over to our opening Session. We meet Matt and Linda many years ago on another incentive trip. We have visited them at their home and they have come to Minnesota to visit us and have become more like family!
I will sharing sneak peeks of the Holiday Catalog each Thursday through August plus a few snippets of our trip.
