Embossing is such a WOW factor and people are always amazed the first time they see it. The outline of the flower is embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.
Embossing is pretty easy you just need a few extra tools.
- Versa Mark Pad
- Embossing Powder
- Heat Tool
The larger flower is stamped with Powder Pink Classic Ink and then the smaller one is stamped with Melon Mambo Classic Ink.
The outline is stamped with the Versa Mark Ink. There is nothing magical about the Versa Mark Ink Pad except it dries very slowly so the embossing powder will stick to it. Then you want to pour Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped image.
Then just tap off the excess embossing powder and heat the powder with the heat tool until it turns shiny.

No matter how many times I heat-emboss, it is always magic seeing the image raise up as it heats. It never fails to take me back to the first time!

You are so welcome Karen, I forget myself too often what an awesome effect heat embossing has on a card.

I really like the garden in bloom stamp set. The gold embossing really does make the flower stand out. After embossing the flower, did you cut out the flower and reapply it?

Awesome card! The gold embossing powder on the flower sets the flower off and makes it look like dew is setting on the edges. The sequins are just the right touch. Like the way you “popped” the flower up on the card. Thank your for sharing your time, talents, and imagination with us.

The flower is cut out and placed on the card front using a dimensional.

The embosssing powder really sets off the flower. I would not have thought to use it for an outline. But now I am going to look at my stamp sets and see what I can use to try this. Thanks for sharing.
