Each Sunday I create a card using one of my card sketches. Sketches can help to get your creativity fired up. They are open to interpretation, no real right or wrong way.
You can create a card exactly using the sketch layout or change it up a bit. You can also turn the sketch so if it is a vertical sketch you might want to turn it to be horizontal. Let your imagination run wild!
Today's card features the Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set (150458) that has been carried over from the Holiday Catalog. In the upper mid-west snowman do not go out of season after Christmas. Winter Birthdays are a perfect time to create a snowman card.
The snowflake is from the Seasonal Layers Die which is a great die set filed with 17 dies to cover all the seasons.
The background paper is from the new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and creates a nice backdrop for our snowman. The snowflakes are stamped with Pool Party Classic Ink and I colored the pearl with the Poppy Parade Dark Stampin' Blend.

Patsy, your card ALMOST makes me want to get outside and build a snowman! lol However, the snow we got yesterday is not deep enough to make a snowman. However, we are supposed to get more snow today. It is pretty to look at; but, I’m really not looking forward to all the cold wet snow. It makes my joints hurt worse.

We have had lots of snowman building weather this year. Last year the snow was too dry but this year it is full of water. My husband said he didnt realize that he snowblower could blow water. My joints can tell a weather change too!
