Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns creating a card that we CASED from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. CASE stands for (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to inspire you!

The Pierced Blooms Dies are one of my all time favorite die sets. I love anything stitched and with over 25 dies to choose from there is no end to what you can create.
When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both. Today is a close case it almost exactly the same just changing up the flowers. The Stampin' Up! concept artist used the Flowers of Friendship stamp set for the flowers and the sentiment and I used the Pierced Bloom Dies for the flowers.
The sentiment is from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set and is heat embossed on Basic Black Cardstock and White Embossing Powder. I think I have embossed more in the last year than I did in 25 years. The white on black gives it such a great POP! The background paper is from the awesome Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper be sure to check out how you can earn this cool paper.
I layered the flowers using Stampin' Dimensionals to give some dimension to the card. The ribbon is the Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon. The flowers are finished off with a Champaign Rhinestone Basic in the center.
All supplies used for today's card are from Stampin’ Up!®.

Patsy, I love the card you made. I must have overlooked the pierced blooms dies in the catalog. Are these stand alone dies or do they have a coordinating stamp set? This set of dies would be an ideal way to use up scraps. Thanks for all you do.
