The Grassy Grove Bundle

The Grassy Grove stamp images pair as well with sentiments from other stamp sets as it does with the four all-occasion greetings that come with the bundle. I choose Thinking of You from Artistically Inked stamp set for my card.

Stamping with my BFF Sue is always a treat and she had just gotten this set so it was time to try it out! If you are someone who loves to get really creative and have a great imagination this set is awesome!

First we cut out the trees (arrow) in Pear Piazza Cardstock. Then to achieve the texture look on the trees and grass I used the set of three trees stamp (circled). I first stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink randomly, then Garden Green and topped it off with Shaded Spruce.

Because the frame was cut out in Pear Pizzazz the trunks were green. I simply colored them with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. The mama deer and one doe are die cut using Soft Suede Cardstock. The other little doe was in Crumb Cake to give it some distinction.

For the background I choose Balmy Blue Cardstock. I used the same three trees stamp along with White Craft Ink to create the clouds for the background (just inking up the leafy part).

Then stamped a row of the grass in Earl Espresso Ink along the bottom. While recreating this card would be easy I admit deciding what and how to do it took some time.

Most of you know my love for Stampin’ Dimensionals and I choose to pop up the trees on a Crumb Cake Cardbase.
