It is so exciting to be included in the Color Your World, International Stampin' Up! Blog Hop featuring Top Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. On the third Tuesday of each month, you can visit our blogs to see the projects we have created using a particular color palette.
Here are the Stampin' Up! colors in this months palette…
- Island Indigo
- Elegant Eggplant
- Wisteria Wonder
- Old Olive
- Always Artichoke
This field full of blooms made me think of the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set to use for this month's card. I wanted to create a background filled with flowers.
This month I used all the colors in the palette, it is not required you can use some or all depending on your mood.
- The large flowers are stamped in Wisteria Wonder Ink and the outline is Elegant Eggplant Ink.
- The leaves are using the Old Olive Ink and outlined with the Always Artichoke Ink.
- The small Flowers I stamped using the Island Indigo Ink and to achieve different shades I re-stamped the flower without re-inking.
The sentiment is framed using the new Layering Squares Framelits. This set is so awesome with its 19 framelits, a combination of scalloped or straight edges for amazing layering options.
Notice the flower on the left? It is punched out using the Petite Petals Punch. I wanted it to mimic the flowers from the Garden in Blooms Stamp Set so I snipped off the pointed tip giving it a rounded petal.
The center of the flowers I embellished with my new favorite embellishment White Perfect Accents. While they are not "new" I seem to be using them on all my cards this month. Leaving them white or taking my black sharpie and coloring them black.

That is one reason I love color palettes as often times I would not put certain colors together but they looks terrific when you do. Thanks a bunch for stopping by and as always love to here from you. Patsy
