It's time for the Color Your World Blog hop. Featuring Top Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world sharing our hand stamped projects using a special color palette.
Today's Color Palette is…
Stampin' Up! Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky, Early Espresso and Smoky Slate
I like to try and use all of the colors in the palette and sometimes it can be a real challenge. Today's palette was no exception, but I did get them all in.
The card base is Early Espresso with two layers of patterned paper from the Cupcakes & Carousel Designer Series Paper Stack from the 2017 Occasions Catalog. The 6 x 6 stack coordinates with Stampin' Up! colors Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron and Very Vanilla.
The dragonfly is two layers the bottom layer was cut out using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Die and Soft Sky cardstock. The top dragonfly was stamped using the detailed dragonfly from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set, Early Espresso Classic Ink and Smoky Slate cardstock and cut out using the coordinating thinlits.
I topped off the dragonfly with one of the Classy Designer Buttons and some Linen Thread.
The Dragonfly Stamp Set and coordinating Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies from the 2017 Occasions Catalog can be purchased as a bundle to save 10%.
The circle was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits (LOVE THESE!!!!). And the good news is they became available again yesterday. The set comes with 12 different size framelits, 4 circles, 4 ovals and 4 squares.
The Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set is a photopolymer stamp set which allows for some flexibility of how you place it on your acrylic block. The sentiment "Enjoy your special day!" is a straight sentiment, I wanted to curve it along the edge of the circle so as I placed it on the block and curved it as I laid it down.
