Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month The Color Your World Design Team kicks off a Color Challenge with our Blog Hop. I am honored to be part of this amazing design team of top demonstrators from around the world.
Everyone is welcome to play along with the challenge by uploading your projects to our Facebook Group.
We do ask that you not post any links or promotions to the group, we're here to get our creative juices flowing and share photos with each other. Want to Join the Group simply visit the page and ask to join!
This Month's Color Your World International Color Challenge
The Color Palette is... Basic Black, Basic Gray and Smoky Slate.
You don't have to use all the colors to play along - but I do like to try and in-cooperate them all in my card, this month with only three colors not too hard.
Handstamped Card Measurements:
- Smoky Slate Card Base: 4 1/4" x 8 1/2"
- Designer Paper: 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- Whisper White: 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" (cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies)
- Smokey Slate: 1/2" x 2 1/2"
- Whisper White Circle: 1 3/8" (cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies)
Deer & Sentiments stamped with Basic Gray Classic Ink, Circle Stamped using Smoky Slate. Sentiments and Circle are stamps from the Wood Words Stamp set which will be available June 1 in the the 2017 Annual Catalog. White Perfect Accents colored with a black permanent marker.
I don't make them often but I do love square cards. This card will fit into a traditional envelope however I love making a coordinating envelope with the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board. It is super simple with the directions printed right on front of the board so I don't have to go looking through piles of papers for them.
