Today's Technique How to Past and Present features a shaker card. When the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog came out I knew I had to have the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and coordinating Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch.
Our granddaughter Fallon who is 4 likes to hang out when I am stamping. As I was playing with this set I punched out one of the ice cream scoops in Crumb Cake for chocolate ice cream. She said oh grandma you made me a bear. She has quite and imagination and I could figure out what she meant, until she came and showed me her card.
I will never look at the ice cream scoop the same again (smiling).
Shaker Cards are fun and easy to make.
While the video is "older" the technique is the same.
You can make your shakers any shape. The video shows foam adhesive circles we once sold, but now you can get Foam Adhesive Strips (141825) making shaker cards a breeze.

Good morning, Patsy. Love your granddaughter’s bear! That was a cute idea. Very imaginative! She must get her creativity from her grandmother. lol Loved your video, too. It was very informative. I was going to download the PDF however; the link took me to “week 17 Creped Paper Flowers”. I just looked at the title and said to myself, “That don’t look right. lol”

Love this ice cream shaker! How did you manipulate the punch to make the cone face the ‘right’ way?
Patsy Waggoner says
The cone is two pieces of Basic White Cardstock so I punched the top and bottom separately. The ribbon covers up the seam.
